In our Christian Faith, Ministry to The Sick and The Homebound is a important and vital ministry.  It is meant to reach those unable to participate in the Church’s life due to hospitalization, suffering from the effects of illness, disability, or even the aging process. 

Father Anthony can take Communion to private homes; in residences for the sick and elderly; or in community hospitals.  Father Anthony encourages any sick person or shut-in to receive the peace of going to Confession or being anointed with the Oil of the Infirmed with the Rite of Holy Sacrament of the Sick.  In these visits, often called "A Ministry of Presence,"  Father Anthony is a comforting force.
