A Blessing of Animals bares witness to God's love, care, and concern for all of God's creation. As we recognize our mutual interdependence with God's creatures, our stewardship of Creation is strengthened.  Most often celebrated each year on or around October 4th, the Feast of Saint Francis of Assisi, a Blessing of Animals can be done on any date.

House Blessings are rites intended to bless the Home, as well as the inhabitants of any house /apartment with hope, joy and comfort. It signifies that this house is a dwelling that welcomes God as the Guest. Many cultures celebrate yearly Blessings after the New Year is celebrated.
